Figure of eight on a triangle

Geometry

A lemniscate of Bernoulli (r² = cos 2θ) is drawn at N stations around the perimeter of an equilateral triangle.

Each copy is rotated by rate · 2π over a full lap, so the rotation rate slider sets how many turns the figure-eight makes as its centre returns to the start — with its hue sweeping a full rainbow along the way.
